Most website owners asked which is better for their website. Is it shared server or dedicated servers? I can’t say which is which. Actually it depends to the owners site or it depends on what is your website is all about.
In dedicated servers, you not need to worry. Even if you used multiple IP addresses for your dedicated server and it will appear to search engines like Google as separate servers.
Besides security issues, shared hosting, servers tend to be the slowest form of accommodation. It is about logistics, if you share the same connection between several hundred web sites, there will be a performance hit. Also, if a CGI script or PHP you misspell the other owner of the website on the same server, you can decrease the performance of your website. However, with a dedicated server, the server has direct access to the Internet gateway of the host and is not shared with other sites. In addition to this, your server will also have the burden of job you get, if you just use some CGI or PHP scripts, the server works perfectly fast.
The main advantage of running your own server is that you are responsible for security updates and maintenance, and backups. I do not remember how many times a vendor has released an update (which went horribly wrong), and restored the server without having to contact the customer. In many cases the customer should contact the provider to ask what happened before offering himself admitted any mistakes. Implementation of this responsibility in the hands you can ensure that all updates are installed and the system backups religiously followed.
